Zusammenfassung: | The housing of the electronic wristwatch contains a number of solar cells (7) in which light energy is converted into electrical energy for supplying a storage battery which maintains the operation of a watch. The watch case is adapted to the wearing habits of the user and configured such that the solar cells (7) are situated in each case on that side of the case which is directed towards that side of the arm which is not covered against the incidence of light by pieces of clothing or faces the wearers hand. It is guaranteed in this way that light can fall into the solar cells even if the front side of the watch is completely covered by parts of clothing on the wearers arm. |
