Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:In the reaction of a phosphorus nitride chloride, in particular of the formula (PNCl2)n where n>/=3, which comprises from 65 to 95% of cyclic compounds, with propanol in the presence of an HCl acceptor, such as pyridine, at least the first half of the propanol is passed into the reaction mixture at an increasing rate in such a way that the temperature of the mixture does not exceed 38 DEG C. In total, from 95 to 150% of the theoretical amount of propanol are employed. A mixture of propoxylated phosphazenes having a mean molecular weight of from 900 to 1600 and a viscosity of from 1400 to 4800 cP at 25 DEG C is obtained. The mixture is used for the flameproofing of cellulose textile materials.
