Zusammenfassung:Salts of d-glucosamine of the formula in which R and R1 are as defined in claim 1, are obtained by reacting d-glucosamine with 3',5'-adenosine-c-monophosphoric acid in aqueous solution under a nitrogen atmosphere. In the course of pharmacological tests, these salts have been shown to possess a lower acute toxicity than the corresponding cyclic AMP acid or the dibutyl ether thereof and to display a higher activity on the mitochondria of a hypertrophic heart at the moment of their maximum functional activity.
