Zusammenfassung: | A photographic material has a light-sensitive layer which contains a complex salt, a polymeric binder and an organic compound which can be coloured or decolorised by oxidation. The metal of the complex salt is selected from the group comprising iron, manganese, cobalt, chromium and platinum. On exposure, ions of these metals are formed which catalyse the oxidation reaction of the organic compound. The latent image is developed by treating the photographic material with peroxide compounds of bromine, iodine, sulphur, hydrogen or potassium, and it is fixed with compounds which form complexes with the metal ions. This gives silver-free photographic images by means of an extremely light-sensitive process. |
