Zusammenfassung: | The high-frequency electron accelerator contains inter alia an accelerating resonator (2) and a source from which high-frequency energy is fed to an electron bundle. The power source is a self-excited generator with a generator tube (4), it being arranged on the resonator (2). Present in the cavity of the resonator (2) is a coupling loop (5) with an isolating capacitor (6) which is connected directly to the anode of the tube (4) and together with the resonator (2) forms a double-circuit oscillatory system in the anode circuit of the generator tube (4). It is possible with this accelerator to obtain a high average power in the bundle of accelerated electrons. Furthermore, a significant increase is achieved in the electronic efficiency of the accelerator, as are a reduction in the external dimensions of the same and a simplification of its design and of its technique of production. |
