Zusammenfassung: | The component for an electrochemical solid electrolyte battery which is provided for directly converting chemical energy of combustion gas into electrical energy exhibits a carrier body (1) which is permeable to gas and which is provided with adjacently extending troughs (3 to 5). On the troughs, electrodes (12, 14) and electrolytes (13) are deposited in the form of thin layers, electrodes of opposite polarity in adjacent troughs being connected to one another by electric conductors (15) and the electrodes of the first trough (3) and of the last trough (5) being connected to electric terminals (19) by electric conductors (16). An electrochemical battery produced with such components exhibits two carrier bodies (1) placed on top of one another in such a manner that their troughs coincide and in each case form a duct through which the combustion gas can be conducted, whereas the air required for the oxidation can be supplied to the electrodes through the gas-permeable carrier body (1). |
