Zusammenfassung:	The lever escapement includes a lever with no in-set pallets, yet which fulfils the conditions of construction which are necessary so that the escapement, while preserving its economical aspect, is of high efficiency, whilst retaining attractive chronometric and reliability properties. This is achieved by lengthening the locking faces (12) via repelling faces (14) which are substantially parallel to the impulse faces of the pallets.
