Zusammenfassung:	1515792 Wool washing composition HOECHST AG 20 July 1976 [23 July 1975] 30166/76 Heading C5D A detergent composition for washing wool comprises 10-20% by weight of a synthetic surfactant and 10 to 80% by weight of a mixture of an alkali metal pyrophosphate, an alkali metal tripolyphosphate and a salt of a partial ester of ortho-, pyro- or tripolyphosphoric acid, the constituents of the blend being present in a weight ratio of 10:2-40:0À25-2, the alcoholic moiety of the ester being a group R-(OC 2 H 4 ) n - wherein R is a C 10 -C 18 aliphatic hydrocarbon radical and n is 2 to 10. The "surfactant" includes p-toluene sulphonic acid and may be a secondary alkyl sulphonate, dodecyl benzene sulphonate, tallow alcohol (11-15 E) ethoxylate, lauryl ether (2-6 E) sulphate, oleyl amine (8-15 E) ethoxylate, or a C 10 -C 15 oxo alcohol (10-15 E) ethoxylate. The compositions may be in aqueous liquid form and contain p-toluene sulphonic acid, KOH and carboxymethyl cellulose.
