Zusammenfassung:	1282679 Moulding composition FARBWERKE HOECHST AG 7 Sept 1970 [5 Sept 1969] 42678/70 Heading C3R A thermoplastic moulding composition comprises a mixture of (a) a linear saturated polyester of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid and, optionally, up to 5 mole per cent calculated on the total amount of the dicarboxylic acid, of an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid, and a saturated aliphatic or cycloaliphatic diol, and (b) from 0À005 to 2% by weight, calculated on the polyester, of a sodium, lithium or barium salt of a monocarboxylic acid, having a particle size below 10 microns. Specified polyesters are polyethylene terephthalate and polycyclohexane- 1,4-dimethylol terephthalate. The composition may also contain copolymers of ethylene/vinyl acetate, ethylene/acrylic ester or butadiene/ styrene. The examples describe moulding compositions of polyethylene terephthalate with sodium stearate, sodium acetate or sodium formate.
