Zusammenfassung:The components are mfd. by the vacuum mixing of iron powder and heat setting resin with a hardener following which the material is put into dies where they are allowed to partially set. When in the viscous state they are rolled into strip which is thicker than the end product, or compacted in moulds, following which they are subjected to a multistage hardening sequence, the first step of which comprises setting at ambient temp. and pressures, this being followed by heating. Method is used for magnetic wedges for electric machinery. It is economical and yields a superior product.
