In a wringer esp. for twin roll foulards, for squeezing out liquid from a textile strip, consisting of >=2 counter roll bearings connected to two independent central roll bearings, the latter having support or locating surfaces on their external periphery and accepting the counter roll bearing pneumatic spring pressure system, the central roll bearings are combined with the counter roll bearings by the use of the support or locating surfaces to form a unit assembly, with adjustable pneumatic springs forming the compressing device sited outside the assembly.
