The invention comprises N-cyclohexyl-3- guanidinoazetidene (I), its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, and a method of making it by reacting N-cyclohexyl-3-RS0 3 -azetidine with guanidine, where R is R1R2CH in which R1 and R2 are H, alkyl or aryl. Therapeutic compositions for oral or parenteral administration comprise the above compound (I) and its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, which are antihypertensive agents.
