Zusammenfassung:	1313666 Air brush AGFA-GEVAERT AG 9 July 1970 [12 July 1969] 33331/70 Heading D1L Apparatus for coating a web with a viscous coating solution comprises transport means for the web, a device 3 for applying viscous coating to the web, a straight edge 7 located adjacent to the coated web 2 and means for drawing an air stream through the gap 6 between the coated web and the straight edge, the air stream acting in the opposite direction to the direction of motion of the web. In the figure, the air stream is produced by a ventilator attached to suction tube 9 of vacuum chamber 8, and baffle plate 10 regulates the flow of emulsion.
