Zusammenfassung:	Lacquers are based on binders which spontaneously crosslink on heating, and which consist of the reaction product of an oil-modified and/or unmodified alkyd resin, and an alpha-alkoxyalkyl isocyanate, the reaction product having an acid number of 5-50 due to the presence of COOH groups, an OH number of 20-180, and an average mol wt. of 500-10,000. The acidity is pref. derived from aromatic COOH groups, or aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or aromatic halocarboxylic acids. The binders obtained spontaneously crosslink on heating, and provide one-component stoving enamels. The binders crosslink to form hard coatings of good gloss, elasticity, bonding strength and resistance to chemicals.
