An electrical insulating connector housing assembly comprises a male part 2 and a female part 4, which are releasably matable with one another, having corresponding contact-member receiving passageways 5 containing sockets 7 or pins 8 respectively, the female part having, on each of two opposite sides, an integral resilient latching arm 20 with a latching head 23 that engages a recess 18 in a front end of a corresponding integral resilient latching arm 16 on the male part when the parts are mated to lock the two parts together. The two parts may be unlocked by squeezing the rear ends of the arms 16 or the forward parts of arms 20 towards each other so releasing the head 23 from its recess. The housing parts may each be of a unitary moulding of an insulating plastics material and may have an integral structure 11, 12 for securing the housing in a panel aperture.
