Zusammenfassung:Anthraquinone dyestuffs (I): B=-CH2-CH-CH2 or -CH(CH2)-CH2-; R' = H or opt. substd. aryl; and r2 = opt. substd. aryl or opt. substd. hydroaryl. - (I) are useful for dyeing and printing synthetic fibres, esp, aromatic polyesters. The dyestuffs are used in finely dispersed form in carriers. Clear red dyed materials are obtd. with excellent light, sublimation and thermofixation fastness. - 100 pts. wt. glycerol 1,3-diphenyl ether, 20 pts. vol. dimethylformamide, 2 pts. wt. KOH, and 10 pts. wt. 1-amino-2-phenoxy-4-hydroxyanthraquinone were heated for 3 1/2 hrs. at 130 deg.C. The mixt. was cooled to 80 deg.C, and 150 pts. vol. glacial acetic acid were added. The dyestuff was filtered and washed with methanol-water. 11.1 pts. wt. red dyestuff were obtd., m.p. 127-128 deg.C (from ethyl acetate).
