Temp. (T) is 140-180 degrees C and partial pressure (P Kg/cm2) of water in the vapour above the liquid phase is expressed by (0.0175T-3.003)log10 P (0.0107T-1.085). Hydrolysis gives useful alcohols e.g. cyclohexanol.
