Zusammenfassung:	Diatomaceous silica pigment with a particle size distribution of >= 5% greater than 10 micron, >= 15% less than 2 micron, made by sedimentation method. Preferred product has particle size distribution of 0.5-1% 10-20 micron; 2.5-3.0% 8-10 micron; 10-11% 6-8 micron; 40%4-6 micron; 31-35% 2-4 micron; 7.5-9.0% 1-2 micron and 4.5-5% 1 micron. Diatomaceous silica is subjected to classification in an apparatus such as a "Wide Range Air Sifter Classifier" model 15A or 24A. Smooth anti-matting agent for paints; antiblocking agent for plastic films.
