1301642 Impact pulverisers K TAKO and H GUNJI 15 Jan 1970 [22 Jan 1969] 2063/70 Heading B2A An impact pulveriser comprises a jacketted casing having an inner wall 5 covered with protrusions 6, a rotatable disc 14 supporting beater arms 16 and a screen 12 and driven by a shaft 15, a fixed screen 10 surrounding the rotatable screen 12, an outlet 26 for the ground product, a hopper 22, and feeder screw 24 which is driven by a shaft 25. The disc 14 is driven via a shaft 15 by a pulley 27. Cooling water 29 is circulated in the space 7 of the mill jacket. In operation, particulate material 28, e.g. resins, glass, pigments or paints, is coaxially pulveyed by the arms 16 and successively further reduced as it passes the screens and strikes upon the protrusions 6 on the inner wall 5.
