Zusammenfassung:X-Ray contrast agents containing a cpd. of formula (I) or an accept. salt: n = 0, 1; when n = 0, R's = lower alkyl; when n = 1, R's = H, lower alkyl. N-Me-N-(2,4,6-tri-iodo-3-aminophenyl) methylsuccinamic, N-Me-N-(2,4,6-tri-iodo-3-aminophenyl)glutaramic and N-(2,4,6-tri-iodo-3-aminophenyl)-beta-methylglutaramic acids. Esp. for visualisation of the gall bladder after oral administration; they are less toxic than known structurally-related cpds. From m-nitraniline by condensation with an appropriate acid anhydride (opt. unsatd.), hydrogenation of NO2 to NH2 (and reduction of C=C), iodination and finally alkylation of the amide group if desired.
