Zusammenfassung:A pigment-contg. soln. of a polymer comprising 80 to 100% acrylonitrile is spun and the so-obtained fibres are hot-drawn, after desolvatisation. The hot-drawn, swollen gel-fibres are washed, dried and finally subjected to the action of steam at 105 to 150 degrees C. The polymer soln. may be a soln. in nitric acid. The fibres have, after the above treatment, good colour fastness on wet rubbing, and the colour is pure and deep.
