Zusammenfassung:	Optical brightening agents for melt-spinning materials consist of v-triazoly-coumarines (I) V and W = alkyl, or phenyl or phenylalkyl opt. substd. by non-reactive, non-chromogenic groups; nyl opt. substd. by non-reactive, non-chromogenic groups; R1 and R4 = H and/or alkyl; R2 and R3 = H, alkyl, and/or alkoxy. (I) have excellent brightening action of good light fastness. They are suitable for use with polyamides and polyesters to be melt-spun at high temps.
