[Also in Division B5] Cyclohexanone is recovered from a coagulation bath (used for wet-spining P.V.C.), by distilling the bath to leave an aq. emulsion and separating organic and aq. phases thereof by bringing the pH of either the initial bath or the emulsion to at least 8, e.g. by use of an added alkaline hydroxide or salt.
