Means for spraying dishes in a dishwashing machine having a rotatable dish rack comprises a perforated U-shaped pipe 16, the limbs of which are mainly horizontal but are upwardly bent at the interconnected ends, where the pipe is provided with a larger perforation 21 than the perforations 20 in the horizontal portions. The pipe 16 may be used in association with horizontally and vertically extending perforated pipes 15 which are supplied in sequence with washing liquid through a control valve.
