Zusammenfassung:918,195. Suction cleaners. ELECTROLUX CORPORATION. June 5, 1961 [June 22 1960], No. 20145/61. Class 8(1). A suction cleaner comprises a dirt receiving chamber connected by a plurality of conduits to a plurality of filters, and air is drawn through said chamber and through the conduits and filters in parallel flow. In the illustrated mach ine, air is drawn by a fan 34 through the suctior inlet 98 into a removable dirt receiving container 70 in which a coarse screen 84 is mounted at the base of a substantially cylindrical wal 82 depending from the container lid 74. The dust laden air is drawn through the screen 84 which retains the larger dust particles so that they fall into the container 70, while the finer dust is carried by the air flow through conduits 52, 54, 56 into three fillers comprising dust bags 44 supported in perforated cages 22, 24, 26. Lamps 108, 118 are energized by fluid actuated switches in response to the pressure drops across the screen 84 and a filter 44, respectively, to indicate when the container 70 or the bags 44 require to be emptied.
