Zusammenfassung:	Stainless steel is cleaned after cold working by means of a solution containing one or more phosphates and surface-active agents. The phosphates may be, for example, soluble salts of orthophosphoric acid or condensed phosphoric acid; the surface-active agents may be ionegenic such as alkyl-aryl sulphonates, fatty alcohol sulphates, fatty acid sarcosides or fatty acid taurides, or may be non-ionogenic, such as alkyl phenyl polyglycol ethers or alkyl polyglycol ethers. An organic solvent may also be present. Specification 794,717 is referred to.
