Zusammenfassung:	962,564. Repairing tyres. MICHELIN & CIE. Oct. 27, 1960 [Oct. 31, 1959], No. 36994/60. Addition to 962,563. Heading B7C. A pneumatic tyre having a carcase reinforced by steel cords 2 and a damaged sidewall 6f, or bead portion 4, is repaired by removing the damaged sidewall and half carcase portion around the whole tyre circumference, baring the cord reinforcement over a width L on the inside of the remaining tyre part adjacent the severed edge thereof, and lap joining thereto a correspondingly bared edge of a like-reinforced prevulcanised replacement sidewall 6d, respectively, the joint being effected by hot or cold vulcanizing solution under heat and/or pressure, and the junctions on both surfaces of the tyre being covered by rubber strips.
