Zusammenfassung:1334322 2 - Methylamino - 2 - ethylindandi- 1,3-one ORDENA TRUDOVOGO KRASNOGO ZNAMENI INSTITUT ORGANICHESKOGO SINTEZA AKADEMII NAUK LATVIISKOI SSR 19 Jan 1972 [19 Jan 1971] 2605/72 Heading C2C 2 - Methylamino - 2 - ethylindandi - 1,3 - one hydrochloride is prepared by reacting 2-bromo- 2-ethylindandi-1,3-one with methylamine in a mixture of benzene and an aprotic polar solvent, extracting with hydrochloric acid, precipitating the base with aqueous ammonia, dissolving the base in an organic solvent and treating with hydrogen chloride. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,154,446.
