Zusammenfassung: | 1370054 Washing machines PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd 22 Jan 1973 [7 March 1972] 10529/72 Heading D1A A switch 10 closable in response to a predetermined water level in the drum of an automatic washing and spin-drying machine, wherein distribution of articles prior to spindrying is effected whilst the drum is partly filled with water is provided in the circuit for the spin motor 6 together with a second switch 9 sensitive to operation of the spin motor at its spinning speed in parallel to the switch 10 to maintain operation of the motor 6 when the water level is reduced by a discharge pump. The switch 9 may be a centrifugal switch or responsive to the current or voltage in the motor circuit and a switch 8 is actuated by a programmer. Preferably a single motor drives the drum through a variable gearing providing both washing and spin-drying speeds of the drum. |
