Zusammenfassung:	1493404 Gaskets HONDA GIKEN KOGYO KK 10 Dec 1974 [11 Dec 1973] 53432/74 Heading F2B In a gasket having metal layers 2, 3 bonded to an insulating plate 1, differential expansion of the layers 2, 3 is avoided, when they are sealing against surfaces at widely different temperature, by arranging for layer 2, having a higher coefficient of thermal expansion, to contact the cooler surface and layer 3, having a lower coefficient of thermal expansion, to contact the hotter surface. The plate 1 may be of asbestos, the layer 2 of Cu or Al and the layer 3 of steel or stainless steel. Grommets 4 may be of Cu or steel.
