Heading A5B. {Also in Division C2] Veterinary compositions, for controlling coccidiosis in animals, e.g. poultry, comprise at least one compound of the formula: wherein X represents 0 or S, and R 1 and R 2 , which may be identical or different, each. represent hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, haloalkyl,; haloalkenyl, or alkyl.or alkenyl substituted by C 1-8 alkoxy, in, association with a non-toxic orally ingestible carrier or diluent. The compositions may also contain vitamins, antibiotics and other growth stimulants, preferably 3-nitro-4-hydroxyphenylarsonic acid, arsanilic acid and other known coccidiostats or Blackhead remedies.
