1356674 Fast dyeings on synthetic hydrophobic textile material CIBA-GEIGY AG 12 Aug 1971 [13 Aug 1970] 37896/71 Heading D1B Fast dyeings are produced on synthetic hydrophobic textile materials by subjecting the material, dyed with disperse dyestuffs containing hydroxyl and/or primary or secondary acylatable amino groups, to an after treatment with a solution or dispersion of a chemical fixing agents in a chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbon having a boiling point above 100‹C at above 80‹C aliphatic or aromatic isocyanates masked isocyanates and halides or acid anhydride being used as fixing agent. The material is subjected to the after treatment after dyeing, preferably without rinsing in the same bath. Accelerating catalysts e.g. basic amines may also be added to the treatment liquor. The dyeings may be produced in any desired manner by conventional dyeing processes and dyes e.g. dyes of the pennone, quinophthalene, nitro, stilbene, azo a methine dyestuff series. Suitable textile materials are particularly cellulose triacetate, polyamides and aromatic polyesters.
