Zusammenfassung:1373558 Heating systems TRANSELEKTRO MAGYAR VILLAMOSSAGI KULKERESKEDELMI VALLALAT 25 July 1972 [3 Aug 1971] 34780/72 Heading F4U [Also in Divisions B1 and F1] A power and heating plant comprises a steam turbine 1 adapted to drive an electric power generator 2, a steam condenser 3 arranged to receive exhaust steam from the turbine, a closed cycle heat exchange system utilizing the heat of the condenser 3 and including heat consumers 4 and a pump 5, and an independent secondary cooling system for removing heat from the exhaust steam when insufficient heat is consumed by the heat consumer 4. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 2, cooling water is pumped 8 from a river 9 to a heat exchanger 6. Alternatively the cooling water may be recooled in a wet cooling tower (10, Fig. 3) and be recirculated. As shown, in Fig. 4, the secondary cooling circuit comprises nozzles arranged inside the steam space of the steam condenser 3a such that cooling water of feed water quality may be injected into the steam space in a quantity sufficient to condense the quantity of steam issuing from the turbine under full load. Cooling water which has been warmed up in the condenser 3a is recooled in a closed system in a dry cooling tower 11. In further embodiments, two or more condensers 3a may be linked to the turbine 1; the condensers being arranged either in parallel or series with regard to the independent secondary cooling system. In the case of two condensers, the cooling water may be sprayed into both simultaneously; or the condensate from one condenser be sprayed into the other condenser using gravity; or the condensate from one condenser be sprayed into the other condenser using a pump.
