Zusammenfassung:1290818 Anti-ulcerogenic medicines TAKEDA YAKUHIN KOGYO KK 19 April 1971 [4 April 1970] 26165/71 Heading A5B [Also in Division C2] Therapeutic compositions for oral, parenteral, rectal, topical or vaginal administration, and which have antitrichomonas and antiulcer activity, comprise compounds of the formula: wherein R 1 is H or optionally substituted alkyl or aralkyl; X is H or COR 1 ; R 2 is halogen, CF 3 , alkyl, alkoxy, NO 2 , NH 2 or NHCOR 1 ; n is 1-4; and Ar is optionally substituted Ph. These compounds prevent ulcers caused by antiinflammatory agents such as Phenylbutazone. Indomethacine or Ibufenac, and may therefore be administered with such agents.
