1310940 Polysulphone resin blends UNIROYAL Inc 11 June 1970 [15 July 1969] 28347/70 Headings C3G and C3R A synthetic thermoplastic resin composition comprises a blend of (A) from 50 to 99% by weight of a linear thermoplastic polyarylene polyether polysulphone resin and (B) from 1 to 50% by weight of a polymer consisting of a spine derived from butadiene on which is grafted one or more compounds of formula where R and R1 are hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, carboalkoxy or together they are an anhydride linkage, R2 is hydrogen, vinyl, alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, carboalkoxy, alkoxyalkyl, alkylcarboxy, ketoxy, aryl, halogen, oarboxy, cyano or pyridyl, and n is 0 to 9. In examples polysulphones are blended with methyl methacrylate grafted on a butadiene-styrene copolymer and with styrene and methyl methacrylate grafted on a butadiene-styrene copolymer.
