The polyester polyamine compound having a structure corresponding to Formula 1 or 2, or a salt thereof: wherein R1 is independently alkylene; R2 Is independently hydrogen or -COR4; R3 is independently alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, or alkaryl; R4 is independently alkyl or alkenyl; R10 and R11 are each Independently hydrogen, alkyl, or alkaryl; m is an integer from 1 to 10; n is an integer from 3 to 10; and wherein at least one R2 is -COR4. L'invention concerne des composés, des compositions et des procédés pour réduire, inhiber ou empêcher la corrosion d'une surface, à l'aide d'un composé de polyester polyamine.
