PROCESSES FOR THE PREPARATION OF (S)-2-(4-CHLORO-2-METHOXYPHENYL)-2-((3-METHOXY-5-(METHYLSULFONYL)PHENYL)AMINO)-1 -(1H-INDOL-3-YL)ETHENONE DERIVATIVES

The present invention relates to a chiral synthesis of mono- or di-substituted (S)-2-(4-chloro-2-methoxyphenyl)-2-((3-methoxy-5-(methylsulfonyl)phenyl)amino)-1-(1H-indol-3-yl)ethenone derivatives of formula (I) by a) reacting a 1-(4-chloro-2-methoxyphenyl)-2-(1H-indol-3-yl)ethane-1, 2-dione derivative of formula (II) with 3-methoxy-5-(methylsulfonyl)aniline to produce a 2-(4-chloro-2-methoxyphenyl)-2-((3-methoxy-5-(methylsulfonyl) phenyl)imino)-1-(1H-indol-3-yl)ethanone derivative of formula (II), and b) hydrogenation of this compound of formula (II) to produce the title compound of formula (I). La présente invention concerne une synthèse chirale de dérivés de (S)-2-(4-chloro-2-méthoxyphényl)-2-((3-méthoxy-5- (méthylsulfonyl)phényl)amino)-l-(lH-indol-3-yl)éthénone mono- ou di-substitués de formule (I) par a) réaction d'un dérivé de l-(4-chloro-2-méthoxyphényl)-2-(lH-indol-3-yl) éthane-1, 2-dione de formule (II) avec de la 3-méthoxy-5- (méthylsulfonyl)aniline pour produire un dérivé de 2-(4-chloro-2-méthoxyphényl) -2-((3-méthoxy-5-( méthylsulfonyl) phényl)imino)-l-(lH-indol-3-yl) éthanone de formule (II), et b) hydrogénation de ce composé de formule (II) pour produire le composé titre de formule (I).
