Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a mounting kit comprising components for assem-bling a mounting system that is configured for holding a photovoltaic module verti-cally with respect to a ground. The mounting kit comprises at least the following components: at least two lateral frame elements that each comprise at least two lateral grooves arranged on opposite sides of the respective lateral frame element, each lateral groove being configured for accommodating a lateral edge of the pho-tovoltaic module, and at least two stop elements each being configured to be at least partly arranged in the lateral groove of a given one of the lateral frame elements, wherein each of the at least two stop elements is configured for supporting a photo-voltaic module to be accommodated in the respective lateral groove.
