The Corynebacterium glutamicum variant increases or enhances the expression of a gene encoding diaminopimelate decarboxylase, and thus can have a L-lysine production yield superior to that of a parental strain. La présente invention concerne un variant de Corynebacterium glutamicum à capacité améliorée de production de L-lysine et un procédé de production de L-lysine faisant appel à celui-ci.
