An elution generator including an elution column having a container defining an interior volume and a septum, a radiation shield having an upper shield portion defining a central recess and a coaxial flow needle extending downwardly into the central recess, and a lower shield portion having body portion defining a central recess, wherein the elution column is disposed in the central recess of the lower shield portion, the body portion of the lower shield portion is disposed in the central recess of the upper shield portion, and the coaxial flow needle extends downwardly through the septum into the internal volume of the elution column. La présente invention concerne un générateur d'élution comprenant une colonne d'élution dotée d'un récipient qui délimite un volume intérieur et un septum, un écran de protection contre les radiations doté d'une partie supérieure d'écran qui délimite un évidement central et une aiguille à écoulement coaxial qui s'étend vers le bas dans l'évidement central, et d'une partie inférieure d'écran dont une partie de corps délimite un évidement central, la colonne d'élution étant disposée dans l'évidement central de la partie inférieure d'écran, la partie de corps de la partie inférieure d'écran étant disposée dans l'évidement central de la partie supérieure d'écran, et l'aiguille à écoulement coaxial s'étendant vers le bas à travers le septum dans le volume interne de la colonne d'élution.
