Zusammenfassung: | Disclosed is a sensor for measuring fluid properties using microwave resonance comprising at least two layers of a printed circuit board material bonded together. The first side of the first layer has an electrically conductive split ring resonator thereon. A fluid channel, preferably a microfluidic fluid channel, is provided in at least the second layer. The split ring resonator has an outer ring and a concentric inner ring having a gap. The fluid channel extends across the outer and inner rings and is aligned with the gap. Also disclosed are sensor systems, methods of measurement of liquid sample characteristics and methods of fabricating the sensor, particularly using photolithographic techniques to simplify alignment of the channel and manufacturing of the sensor. |
