Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a profile element (10) for attachment to the rear side (2) of a facade panel (1), which in turn is fastened to a base (5) such as a building surface or a substructure. The profile element (10) is formed in one piece and comprises three functional sections (20, 30, 40) arranged one after the other: a fixing section (20) for fixing the profile element to a base (5); a support section (30) for attachment to the facade panel (1); and a spacer element (40) which, in the installed state, ensures the correct distance between the base and the rear side of the facade panel. The profile element can be extended by a supplementary element (50), which has functionally similar elements and is only used if required by the geometry of the facade panel. The supplementary element can be used to be positively connected to the profile element of an adjacent facade panel. Such a facade system can be used flexibly for a wide variety of types and dimensions of facade panels.
