Zusammenfassung:A pumping device for lifting production fluids from a well comprises an intake section comprising a plurality of intake ports; a nozzle in fluid communication with the plurality of intake ports; a throat section having a downstream end and an upstream end, the upstream end in fluid communication with the nozzle; and an output section comprising a diffuser in fluid communication with the throat section. The intake ports are configured to direct a production fluid towards the nozzle, and the throat section defines a tapered fluid channel comprising a constriction for producing pressure differentials between the upstream end and the downstream end so as to lift the production fluid upwards.
