Zusammenfassung:	The present disclosure relates to an irrigation system for irrigating a plurality of plants growing in growing media. The system includes a movable grow table for supporting and displacing the plants and a gravity irrigation device which is coupled to the movable grow table and displaceable therewith. The gravity irrigation device includes a reservoir which is coupled to the movable grow table, a main header in fluid communication with an outlet of the reservoir which is configured to receive a flow of water therefrom, as well as a plurality of microtubes which extends from a plurality of header outlets. The microtubes are configured to receive a head-pressurized flow of water from the main header to evenly irrigate the plants. A method for irrigating a plurality of plants growing in growing media is also described.
