Zusammenfassung:The present invention concerns an ammonia production method comprising the steps of: providing at least one rare earth nitride material or layer in a chamber; creating a vacuum or an inert atmosphere in the chamber; and providing hydrogen H2 to react with nitrogen N released at an external surface of the at least one rare earth nitride material or layer to produce ammonia. La présente invention concerne un procédé de production d'ammoniac comprenant les étapes consistant à : fournir au moins un matériau ou une couche de nitrure de terres rares dans une chambre; créer un vide ou une atmosphère inerte dans la chambre; et fournir de l'hydrogène H2 pour réagir avec de l'azote N libéré au niveau d'une surface externe du ou des matériaux ou couches de nitrure de terres rares pour produire de l'ammoniac.
