Zusammenfassung:	An ankle prosthesis has a tibial component configured for attachment to a tibia of a person, and a talar component. The talar component has a first surface configured for facing the tibial component and a second surface configured for facing a talus of the person. The second surface has first and second arms attached to it, for pivoting or flexing outwardly in medial and lateral directions, respectively, to engage side surfaces of a previously formed slot in the talus. Une prothèse pour cheville comprend une composante tibiale configurée pour sattacher au tibia dune personne ainsi quune composante pour le talus. La composante pour le talus comprend une première surface configurée pour faire face à la composante tibiale et une deuxième surface configurée pour faire face au talus dune personne. La deuxième surface comprend deux bras qui lui sont rattachés et qui servent à pivoter ou à effectuer une flexion médiale et latérale vers lextérieur, respectivement, afin dengager les surfaces latérales dune fente formée au préalable dans le talus.
