WALKING MOTION ASSIST DEVICE

A walking motion assist device that assists the rotational motion of an ankle joint of a wearer, wherein the walking motion assist device comprises a drive motor, a drive mechanism that can rotate coaxially with respect to the ankle joint by way of the drive motor, a control device that controls driving the drive motor, a storage unit in which a basic movement pattern that represents changes in the ankle joint angle in a time series during a walking cycle and a corrective movement pattern are stored, and a calculation unit that acquires the corrective movement pattern by correcting the basic movement pattern on the basis of input by an operator. The basic movement pattern is represented by a polyline in which a plurality of prescribed points serves as inflection points, a Bezier curve, or a combination of same. The calculation unit generates the corrective movement pattern that is corrected by adjusting the position of the plurality of prescribed points on the basic movement pattern. The control device controls driving the drive motor on the basis of the corrective movement pattern.
