The composition comprises a first part that includes copper sulfate and a second part that includes a reagent capable of reacting with the copper sulfate to produce a visible color reaction when contacted with protein or biofilm. L'invention concerne un procédé pour détecter la présence d'une protéine ou d'un biofilm sur une surface, lequel procédé consiste à appliquer une composition sur la surface, et à observer une réaction colorée si une protéine ou un biofilm est présent sur la surface. La composition comprend une première partie comprenant du sulfate de cuivre et une seconde partie comprenant un réactif apte à réagir avec le sulfate de cuivre pour produire une réaction colorée visible lorsqu'elle est mise en contact avec une protéine ou un biofilm.
