Zusammenfassung:In at least one embodiment the present invention provides a lateral marine thruster assembly for mounting to an outboard motor, the lateral marine thruster having a bi-directional thruster having a central body portion and at least one propeller, the central body portion housing at least one high torque electric motor, the at least one high torque electric motor rotatably coupled to the at least one propeller, the rotational axis of the at least one high torque electric motor and the at least one propeller oriented perpendicularly to the centerline of the outboard motor and means for securing the bi-directional thruster to the outboard motor.
