Zusammenfassung:	Provided is an immersion nozzle replacement method performed while pushing out a used immersion nozzle with a new immersion nozzle, wherein leakage of molten steel during replacement is minimized, a standard joint sealer 30 can be used on a joint surface, a recessed section is provided in an upper surface 14 of the new immersion nozzle so as to include a nozzle hole in order to ensure high sealability, and the standard joint sealer is attached to said recessed section. The upper surface of the immersion nozzle is caused to slide while pressing a lower surface 21 of an upper nozzle 21.
